NetRoom servers use a variety of operating systems. Depending on solution's needs or budget frame or client’s choice we use server OS's as follow:

Windows Server 2008
Windows Server 2008 is built from the same code base as Windows Vista; therefore, it shares much of the same architecture and functionality. Since the code base is common, it automatically comes with most of the technical, security, management and administrative features new to Windows Vista

SUSE
SUSE Linux is the most interoperable platform for mission-critical computing—both physical and virtual—from the desktop to the data center.

DEBIAN
Debian is a popular operation system, which uses the Linux kernal. Debian can be used as a desktop as well as server operation system. It focuses on stability and security.

UBUNTU
Super-fast and great-looking, Ubuntu is a secure, intuitive operating system that powers desktops, servers, netbooks and laptops.

CentOS
CentOS is an Enterprise Linux distribution based on the sources from Red Hat Enterprise Linux.A new CentOS version is released every 2 years and each CentOS version is regularly updated (every 6 months) to support newer hardware. This results in a secure, low-maintenance, reliable, predictable and reproducible environment.

SpamAssassin is a computer program released under the Apache License 2.0 used for e-mail spam filtering based on content-matching rules. It is now part of the Apache Foundation.

SpamAssassin uses a variety of spam-detection techniques, that includes DNS-based and checksum-based spam detection, Bayesian filtering, external programs, blacklists and online databases.

The program is integrated with the mail server to automatically filter all mail for a site. It can be run by individual users on their own mailbox. SpamAssassin is highly configurable; if used as a system-wide filter it can still be configured to support per-user preferences.

Doctor Web is a Russian IT-security solutions vendor. Dr.Web anti-virus software has been developed since 1992. The Russian IT security services market leader, Doctor Web was the first vendor to offer an anti-virus as a service in Russia.

QMail is a modern SMTP server which makes sendmail obsolete.
The Internet had approximately 1791 SMTP servers running qmail in March 1997; 4078 SMTP servers running qmail in August 1997; 352000 SMTP servers running qmail in October 2000;

717000 SMTP servers running qmail in October 2001.
Just imagine how many they are in recent times.
